bullied constantly to save energy, yet traffic lights blaze away all night when there is no traffic?
i am sick to death of adverts saying ingredients are 'locally sourced' things are 'free range' products from 'renewable sources' do these companies think we are stupid, i don't give a shit where my stuff comes from! anyone else feel the same?
I hope you also don't care when they raise your electric rates, garbage rates, waste water rates, property taxes, income taxes, sales tax, gas tax etc. Even if you think global warming is a crock, pollution isn't and we spend billions of dollars trying to keep our air, water and soil clean enough to support human life. Our food sources are getting sicker and have fewer nutrients in an attempt to produce more.
BTW in my state all the traffic lights have been changed to LED, they use about 1/10 the energy of the old bulbs.
It's the media who has convinced us that the world is our shopping cart and that disposable is better than reusable. Main stream companies don't want you to care, they make more profits the more cheap toxin ridden crap we buy from China.
