what are the possibilites of getting a "true" green job in the western cape?
I would like to work anywhere in the garden route area or CT. With regards to what kind of work.I was looking at EIA work, sustainable development, renewable energy, organic farming.Working for a consulting agency or as a environmental inspector.I have a diploma from the USA in environmental science and im busy doing my business management degree-correspondence.Ive also worked in the USA as a operations manager for a company that builds, renovates and maintains golf courses.I was always looking at ways of implementing environmentally-friendly ideas like IPM and certifying golf courses by Audubon and working with the US department of environmental protection.
I do my best by living a 'green' lifestyle here but i got to say that its not as easy as the US. I used to shop at a store called Whole Foods in the US where most of their products where organic and fair trade.... Here in PE (most of SA) i find most of the products here are sold by the 'cruel and corrupt' multi national corporations
Check this company out man. Its a brand new revolutionary company thats going to get solar on as many homes as possible in here in the United States. http://www.powur.com/therisingsun
