Green Energy Science Fair Projects

hmmm i can't come up with a science fair project... can you help?

I want it to be something about the enviroment or going green... it can be an experiement or research project... any ideas? i was thinking designing a "green" house with energy efficent apliences and such... i'm welcome to more ideas

Build a Van de Graff generator.
You need a plastic pipe(PVC)
The bottom wheel needs to be plastic or cloth.
The top wheel needs to be metal.
Put as round a piece of metal you can find on top.
And WALA!
You just built an electrostatic generator.
Just forget the motor and use a hand crank to power it(just so it's green)
And a final tip, the bigger and smoother the dome on top, the higher the voltage and longer the spark.
