Do I want to be an engineer?

How much do they make?
What type of engineer creates new ways of green energy?
What is the best school in the U.S. to go to for engineering?
What type of classes should I take in high school?
What should I learn about for that type of engineering?
Is it easy to get a job as that type of engineer?

Any other addition information about anything would be highly appreciated!

I am in my final year of Electrical engineering majoring in electrical power systems. The salary range depends on which country you are in and what field of engineering you will be specializing in. I'll say between 56000 to 62000 for entry level.

Renewable Engineering would be the type looking for ways to create green energy ...It is getting quite popular at the moment, every one wants solar energy houses and hydro cars...i'll say the next 10 years or so, or even less time, gigantic boom /changes

Not certain of the US schools as I am not in that country

In high school to be an engineer, you need to study and have great marks in Physics, Chemistry, Algebra/geometry and Calculus.

You'll know if you want to become an engineer, if you are good at 3 out of the 4 subjects or all.

For Renewable Engineering, you need to learn about the different types of energy resources. At the moment we depend on gas/coals to burn to make fuel /electricity.. etc etc as a renewable engineer you will be looking for other sources of energy ...the sun (solar energy) or hydro cars .. green gas and such ... I don't know much about it as it is not my field

check google for renewable engineering, it is quiet fasinating. If you want to save the earth, this is the way to go

I would have done this engineering but decided I would do my masters in it and then be be able to specialize
