Tips forc green and ethical living?

I'm trying to live a greener and more ethical life. I dont have a very well paid job and have relatively high rent and council tax so something like changing to only organic food won't be possible. I don't own or drive a car and either walk or use public transport to get around, I only drink fair-trade tea and coffee, use organic milk, shower instead if bath, have energy saving lightbulbs and turn off electrics at the plug when not in use. I live in a shared house so changing to a green energy provider or fitting solar panels isn't possible. I use recycled paper and recycle as much waste as possible. Simple ideas please!

Please read NASA's Clean Air Plant Study and check out India's healthiest building.

"Common indoor plants may provide a valuable weapon in the fight against rising levels of indoor air pollution. Those plants in your office or home are not only decorative, but NASA scientists are finding them to be surprisingly useful in absorbing potentially harmful gases and cleaning the air inside modern buildings"

"NASA Study shows common plants help reduce indoor air pollution….

NASA research has consistently shown that living, green and flowering plants can remove several toxic chemicals from the air in building interiors. You can use plants in your home or office to improve the quality of the air to make it a more pleasant place to live and work – where people feel better, perform better, any enjoy life more."
