Can I switch a power supply in an old tower computer to a more energy efficient/"green" one? How?
I am trying to save power and also (if possible) reduce heat output on a "sort of old" computer. If I can switch power supplies, how do I select one and what do I need to consider as far as software interfacing is concerned (i.e., taking advantage of Energy Star/power saving features with Windows)?
Thats Expensive Just buy a new computer!
