Is the Honeywell C27 heating control panel powered by battery or is it wired into the mains ?
My heating and water has gone off, I want to check for things like this before getting an engineer. The display panel just went totally blank, so there's no way of operating the heating system (and it's freezing !).
It is wired into the mains. The installation info (link below) says that the battery maintains the programs as backup only and the display disappears while the power is off. So check to see if the power supply to the boiler is on. There should be an isolating switch nearby with a cartridge fuse in that may have blown. You use a small electrical screwdriver to prise the fuse holder out.
