Solar Energy System

Where do the DC currents go in a solar energy system?

I read that the currents pass through a regulator then it would go to either a DC load or a battery...
Where would the DC currents specifically go?..Do we need DC currents in some of the appliances??

If we need DC currents for some of the appliances, then how can we acquire them at night? Because when I look at the schematic diagram, only the AC currents comes from the battery.

I don't know if my question makes sense but I hope someone could help me out. Thanks.

Anything that has a "brick" plug uses DC. That brick is a step-down AC=>DC converter. Laptops, cellphones, iPods, game consoles all use DC.

Batteries always output DC, as well.

To solve your energy problem, charge the battery during day time, and use the energy at night time.
