The 3 links above are important for you too read. The issues at hand include:
1) Having another superpower
A) Is it better then having china become the next counterbalance?
B) Is it better that they have western ideals?
2) How will they compensate for thier low birth rates and establish a competitive populous of another 100 million?
a) Immigration rights to africans, middle-easterners, muslims?
b) Mass immigration of AMERICANS back to Europe!
3) Is a reverse immigration back to Europe a threat to the US?

I ask you, if Europe's new green energy demands and if Americas new and emerging ethenol/biofuel capacity and infrastructure developes, may we establish a strong new trading partnership between the US and EU? or would the EU be overrun with crime from poor immigration and topple?

the USA originally started as a western expansion from Europe as their colonies and regardless of what happened, we are still basically just a country that holds to that original colonization. We may have broke free with independance from the crown but as allies we've remained together. doing this really would do no harm to either country and would only enhance the quality of life and ideas within the people.
