White house to go solar! ... What happen to Jimmy Carter's solar panels?
Jimmy Carter got the White House off the grid and solar in the early 80's after the oil embargo! What ever happened to those panels? Can't we just use what we have already paid for?
Ronald Reagan had them torn off the roof in 1981. That's what happened to them. BS to the first answer, he just didn't want to offend the power companies.
